Who Does What

Furdale is part of the RM Of Corman Park, but is an Organized Hamlet that has its own elected Board Members who direct certain affairs.

In addition to these groups, Furdale has a Community Association, to which all residents are welcome to be a part of.

Below we will summarize these duties and relationships.

RM Of Corman Park

Responsible For (Including But Not Limited To):
- Permits (Construction, Vehicle, Etc)
- Fire Response And Bans
- Security And Policing
- Bylaws
- And More
Collect Taxes From Furdale Residents
- 40% Of These Taxes Are Set Aside For Use Within The Hamlet
The Councillor For Division 3 Is Responsible For Communicating Ideas And Concerns To The RM On Behalf Of Furdale Residents

Members Voted In For 3 Year Terms
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Hosting An Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Setting An Annual Budget
- Managing Maintenance Activities For Common Use Areas Such As Roads
- Reporting To Council (RM) On Behalf Of The Hamlet
